Research Associate and Adjunct Researcher Positions
The Faculty of Economics offers two types of non-tenured position to provide financial support for doctoral level graduate students.
1. Research Associate (Non-tenured, Full-time)
| Eligibility | Applicants must have either graduated with a doctorate from the Graduate School of Economics at Keio or completed the doctoral level coursework. |

| Tasks | Administrative and teaching assistance, possibly including lecturing. |
2. Adjunct Researcher (Part-time)
| Eligibility | Applicants must be current doctoral level students of the Graduate School of Economics at Keio. |

Research Funds for Doctoral Students
"The Fund for the Advancement of Research at the Graduate Schools of Keio University" provides grants to support high quality joint or individual research by doctoral level students. This fund is partly supported by the Promotion and Mutual Aid Corporation for Private Schools of Japan.

Other Sources of Funding
Other funding opportunities for doctoral students include fellowships from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), and Global COE research posts, which are available for specific fields only. For information, please apply to the Office of Research Administration.
ADB-JSP Scholarship (for the Master's Program Only)
1. Asian Development Bank Japan Scholarship Program:
Please confirm the details of the scholarship, including matters such as eligibility and the costs that will be met, by consulting the following sites.

2. Number of Recipients:
One person per year (for the Graduate School of Economics)
3. Selection Procedure:
(1) Eligible candidates must apply to take the Graduate School entrance
examination.
(2) Eligible candidates must pass the above examination.
(3) Eligible candidates whose examination results meet the requirements of
the ADB will be contacted by the Graduate School, starting with the
candidate with the best results.
(4) The selected candidate will apply for the scholarship through Keio
university.
(5) The ADB will make the final selection.
*Application Deadline for the Entrance Examination: Mid-JUNE in the previous year
Admissions for International Students (Master's Program)
4. Announcement of successful candidates/the successful candidate:
Selection procedure (2) (Keio Univ.): Mid-SEPTEMBER in the previous year
Selection procedure (3) (Keio Univ.): Late NOVEMBER in the previous year
Selection procedure (5) (ADB) : Late MARCH in the current year
NOTE: The academic year of the Graduate School of Economics starts on 1 April and ends on 31 March of the following year.
