Keio University – CEMS Double Master’s Degree Programme
About the Programme
The Graduate School of Economics at Keio University and CEMS have a double master’s degree programme in Economics and in International Management which allows qualified students to acquire two master’s degrees within 2 years. Students selected to participate in the programme spend two semesters at two different CEMS partner schools (Academic Members) and take required courses there.
CEMS has grown since its foundation in 1988, and its International Management Programme is now recognized as one of the world’s top level programmes by the Financial Times rankings.
CEMS Academic Members are highly competitive universities which are selected on the basis of a “one country one school” policy. Keio University is the only CEMS Academic Member in Japan.
At Keio, the Graduate School of Media Design and the Graduate School of Business and Commerce also offer this double degree programme. To apply for the double degree programme, you must be enrolled in one of the three graduate schools; Media Design, Business and Commerce and Economics.
In order to participate in this programme, applicants must satisfy one of the following the English language requirements listed below:
- a score of 600 or more in the case of TOEFL PBT;
- a score of 250 or more in the case of TOEFL CBT;
- a score of 100 or more in the case of TOEFL iBT;
- a score of 7.0 or more in the case of IELTS; or
- a score of B or above on the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE).
and submit a valid score at the time of application.
Students who have passed the entrance exam in autumn and who are in their first year at the Graduate School of Economics are eligible to apply for this CEMS Programme. Successful applicants to the Graduate School of Economics will receive details about application and its selection process for the Programme.
Note: Applicants for the CEMS programme cannot apply for the Double Degree Programme with Sciences Po at the same time. In addition, application eligibility and necessary documents for these two programmes are different. Please read the application information carefully before applying.
