Awards for Students in Professor Yasuo Hirose’s Seminar at the ISFJ “Policy Forum 2013”

Students in Professor Yasuo Hirose’s Seminar received two awards at the Inter-University Seminar for the Future of Japan (ISFJ) “Policy Forum 2013”

The monetary policy group (Miho Kawabe, Hiroaki Sekiya, Shunichi Takano, Takehiro Hashimoto, and Kazuki Fujimura) won the Second Prize of the Best Paper Award for their paper entitled “Leaving the Zero Interest Rate Policy: The Bank of Japan’s Exit Strategy”

The fiscal policy group (Hideaki Ogino, Kumpei Zaitsu, Ryuichiro Hashimoto, and Shunsuke Hori) won the Fiscal Policy Section Committee Award for their paper entitled “Fiscal Policy Options for the Consumption Tax Increase: How to Prevent the Three Arrows of Abenomics from Fizzling Out”.
