Awards for Students in Professor Atsuhiro Yamada’s Seminar at the ISFJ Policy Forum 2013

Students in Professor Atsuhiro Yamada’s Seminar received four awards at the Inter-University Seminar for the Future of Japan (ISFJ), “Policy Forum 2013”.

Saeko Kojima, Risako Kobayashi and Shota Nishio won the Long-term Care and Welfare Section Committee Award for their paper entitled “Economies of Scale in the Long-term Care Sector ”

Misaki Goto, Hideto Suzuki and Shohei Hosaka won the Social Security (1) Section Committee Award for their paper entitled “The Effect of Company Child-Care and Benefit Programs on the Employment of Women as Permanent Staff and their Subsequent Promotion Opportunities”

Misako Shimazaki, Minoru Suzaki and Kanade Sekiguchi won the Labor and Employment (2) Section Committee Award for their paper entitled “The Effectiveness of Increased Overtime Premiums as a Way of Reducing Long Working Hours“

Takafumi Kusumoto, Mari Kobayashi, Daichi Sawayanagi and Rikuto Seto won the  Labor and Employment (3) Section Committee Award for their paper entitled “The Effectiveness of Unemployment Benefits in Promoting the Transition to Permanent Employment”
