    About the Stevens Institute of Technology

    Stevens Institute of Technology, founded in 1870, is a prominent private research university with a strength in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Located in Hoboken, New Jersey, overlooking the Manhattan skyline, the school is known for its excellent job placement record. Graduates of Master’s programmes in finance-related fields have utilized their skills and expertise in such careers as data scientists, research analysts, and financial analysts.

    Eligibility and Application Guideline

    Applicants must satisfy the following requirements at the time they apply for this Programme:

    1. be a Keio student enrolled in the Faculty of Economics and have successfully completed at least the first five semesters in the case of PEARL students, and at least the first six semesters in the case of Type A/B students;
    2. a TOEFL iBT score of 90 or more or an IELTS score of 7.0 or more*;

      *PEARL students are exempted from this English requirement.
    3. a GPA of 2.3 or above; and
    4. satisfy the following course requirements:
        have earned or are expected to earn credits for four Keio courses (a total of 8 Keio credits) transferrable to Stevens*. Note that you may not count these credits toward your graduation requirements of 126 credits at Keio but instead should indicate that they “courses taken prior to joining graduate school.” Moreover, the grade for all of the four courses must be “B” or higher.

        *The list below shows the courses whose credits are typically transferrable to Stevens. The 8 Keio credits are recognized as being equivalent to a total of 9 Steven credits, and you will be taking the remaining 21 out of 30 credits required for graduation from Stevens over two semesters to complete a Master’s programme.
