About the Universities

Keio University

Keio University is Japan’s very first private institution of modern higher learning, founded in 1858. Since then, Keio has produced many political, social, and economic leaders, and has risen to the forefront of innovation in various academic fields. The forerunner of the present Faculty/Graduate School of Economics was founded in 1890 as the first higher education department in Japan to promote the study of economic issues.

Sciences Po

L’Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris, known as Sciences Po for short, is an international research university in the fields of humanities and social sciences, located in France. Founded in 1872 with an original mission of promoting dialogue among scientific and applied knowledge, Sciences Po has given rise to a number of distinguished academics, as well as business and political leaders.
