Eligibility and Application Guideline

Applicants must satisfy the following requirements at the time they apply to this Programme:

  1. Be a Keio student enrolled in the Faculty of Economics and have successfully completed at least the first five semesters in the case of PEARL students, and at least the first six semesters in the case of Type A/B students;

    (*PEARL students are exempted from this English requirement.)
  3. a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.3 / 3.3 as stipulated below; and

Calculation of a GPA score and minimum requirements

  1. Applicants who have entered or will enter Keio in or after April 2017:
    a GPA score on their transcript of 3.3 or more
  2. Applicants who entered Keio before April 2017:
    a GPA score of 3.3 or more based on the following calculation method:

    GPA = (4S + 4A + 3B + 2C + 0D) / (S + A + B + C + D)
    where S, A, etc denote the number of credits with a grade of S, A, etc, respectively.
    NOTE: For each grade, multiply the points for that grade by the number of credits you have earned with that grade. Exclude courses that do not count towards your graduation.
